Club mahindra is really bad. For the SAME cost you can get 5 star properties everywhere. Marriott Bonvoy points add up when you spend (dinner, hosting family events etc every rupee) in Le Meridian, Marriotts, Ritz-carlton, Sheraton. When you take into account the points, it comes very close to the cost of ClubM, but what you get in return is much much better.

Is there any regulatory body? Who is allowing this company to take deposits from common people? It appears that it is a part of Mahindra Group and these "Mahindra" brothers always give lecture on how India is now a days reckoned as No. 1 business destination etc etc.

Very few resorts are 5star. Mostly its 3star. All their expenses are recovered from food & beverage alone. ASF & membership fees is net profit.

Sir, you forgot to mention the astronomical food prices at their resorts. For 1 person two meals (breakfast+lunch/dinner) costs 2000Rs. So for a 4 member family it will cost 8000/day for just 2 meals.

Club Mahindra uses gym model. They know 70% people will leave membership with no refund.

Why would anyone get such a membership? Can't you plan a holiday on your own?

I stayed there last weekend at club Mahindra Virajpet Karnataka, they’re always full they say but I found many room’s vacant!! I’m not a member I got a night stay from Agoda for 14k for 3 people with breakfast, but they charge heavily for all activities including bird watching 500+gst, for rope walking adventures 2k+gst… they charge 2k+gst for food per person!! When asked for gst bill no bill provided they said you will get in email, it’s been few days already no bill received.., there’s huge GST evasion going on by club Mahindra… its all scam!! I enjoyed property without becoming member!!

This is a perfect crime they have been committing from last over 20 years or so. Till recently no body had any idea whats going on!

Isn't there a proper law that requires builders to give back the so called token amount (deposit should be the correct word)? And isn't that obvious ?

You are referring to national consumer helpline I think, you should approach your district consumer court where you will likely get justice.

Club Mahindra was a good investment in 2001 when it was in good hands. Over the years the quality of services started deteriorating. Now it’s worse than OYO rooms. The just cheat new customers.

I had almost finalised my decision to join this club .After seeing your your ordeal I dropped this idea I think God has saved my money from these fraudsters in your guise . Thank you .

Write an email to anand mahindra and keep relevant parties in CC. Provide detailed evidence in the mail. ICICI bank tried to scam me by forging my signature and selling me insurance and other policies worth 500000 over my home loan of 40 lacs. Tgey told me refund was not possible. Brance manager would not even see me. I wrote directly to ICICI bank CEO, and ICICI direct CEO. Same brance manager was at my house next evening begging me to revoke my email. Money was refunded within a week.
